Our clients are at the heart of everything we do. Each project is a collaboration, bringing together vision, craftsmanship, and innovation to create kitchens that are both beautiful and functional.
Here’s what homeowners, designers, and professionals have to say about their experience with IMDcabinets.
Stunning Modern Cabinets – Loved them so much we’re ordering them again! Patricia and Santi are an incredibly talented and professional mom-and-pop duo who supplied all our cabinets, built-ins, and custom furniture for our house in Telluride, Colorado. Our family has severe MCS and we have a very modern aesthetic.
After months of trying to get our dream look out of other cabinet materials and cabinet suppliers, we tried IMDesign. They were able to give exactly the look we wanted with even better quality than we thought possible. There was zero smell or off-gassing, and no chance of mold or water damage.
They provided stellar customer service and were always available to make sure everything was perfect, even though they were 5,000 miles away. We are building a second home and are working with IMDesign again.

PROFESSIONALISM and QUALITY in all aspects. I was looking for the best option for a new kitchen in my house. And the truth is, trusting IMDcabinets was the best decision! I am super proud of the result and the fast service we have had.
Having Santi and Patricia on hand in this new project has been a pleasure and a sure bet for success! To this day, I have not yet found a kitchen with better features. Its innovative design, its elegant, resistant material and, at the same time, respectful of the environment along with the warm personal treatment and the professionalism received at all times …there is a long list of benefits and advantages that all come together in one place: IMDcabinets!
I recommend their kitchens over and over again !! I can not imagine a better option. Try it out, imagine what the best kitchen in the world would be like. You will see that any feature you imagine is in and IMDcabinets kitchen! Thank you Santi and Patricia for all your work, you are great!

Dear Patricia and Santi, just a quick note to tell you how very pleased we are with our new kitchen. We wanted a kitchen which wasn’t the feature of our great room and with your help in the design and colour choice that was achieved. The hidden drawers certainly worked out well to give the streamlined look we were after.
We really appreciate having aluminum cabinets under the sink, so clean and easy to clean. You two were a big part of our new home project and fun to work with under the stresses of building a home. Thank you both so much.
John and Ann, Pender Island
We worked with Innovative Modern Design, when we were transitioning our weekend get-away to our full-time retirement home. Our dream had been that one day we would retire from our jobs, and live full-time on Pender Island, BC. We wanted to upgrade our kitchen, and called upon Innovative Modern Design to visit our home, and come up with ideas for us.
The end result was a huge surprise and a welcomed one from this young professional couple who brought their ideas and state of the art drawings of possible outcomes. Our new kitchen was completed on time, in budget, and with a guarantee of satisfaction. This company is unique, affordable, and highly skilled offering a unique product that is strong and eye pleasing.
Dan and Arthur, Pender Island
I have worked with Patricia and Santi for several years. This is our first project which encompassed an open concept kitchen and three bathrooms in a contemporary cabin on Pender Island. The end result was beautiful and creative, and Santi was very accommodating with my many requests for customization and advice. They also helped source countertops and pulls since it was an awkward project being on an island!
We have also collaborated on several projects since then and all of my clients are extremely happy with with their cabinets. I think their aluminum product is so innovative and practical, and wonderful because it is different and unexpected. Best of all they are two of the most lovely, creative and service oriented people I have worked with. Lael O’Brien, designer.
IMDesign did a fantastic job of designing and installing our kitchen. We are thrilled with the results! Its a beautiful, highly functional kitchen. Patricia and Santi were creative, within budget, easy to work with – great professionals. We highly recommend IMDesign!

Santi and Patricia recently completed our kitchen make-over. The cupboards look fabulous. Well made, terrific attention to detail. Both were very helpful in design and colour advice which was all part of the package. We didn’t have to worry about anything and our marriage remained intact. We would recommend IMDesign without hesitation, great product, great people.

Patricia and Santi care about their products, quality, and exceeding client’s expectations. Their drawings were well detailed so we could envision the end product and easily refine our requirements early in the process. Santi’s craftsmanship is superb and his attention to detail is readily apparent when seeing him work.
He came up with several innovative solutions to overcome on-site challenges. Patricia was very helpful in providing design options to get the best layout. They deliver what they promise when they say they will and stayed on budget. We’re loving our new kitchen!!

Howard and I can’t thank IM Design enough for our new kitchen! It’ s more beautiful, sleek and stylish than we ever could have imagined for our little house in the woods, and yet, now that it’s here, we can’t remember what the space looked like before the transformation.
Patricia and Santi guided us through the design process with creative storage ideas for our small galley, and when it came time for installation they were organized and attentive to every detail.

Innovative Modern Design offers a unique product – cabinetry that is made of aluminum rather than particle board or other wood based or plastic based materials. The result was a unique kitchen that was modern, timeless, durable, and did not present any off-gassing to taint the customers’ food or wine glasses.
I was most impressed by the fact that they take personal pride in their product and the service they offered and this is evident through their detailed measurements and meticulous work. I got exactly what I was expecting. As we fine-tuned any final deficiencies, they were more than happy to ensure their product was performing beyond the client expectations, and were quick to respond with any final fine-tunings.
I would recommend this company, not only for their product, but also for their service.

From the first moment we became aware of what kind of kitchens Santi and Patricia design and build, we were certain about what we wanted for our new home. The quality, the features, the assurance that everything is 100% toxic free, the Neolith countertops …
A custom designed and built kitchen, taking advantage of every corner, keeping everything simple yet very practical. We love the combination of the colours of the cabinets with the Neolith and the stone wall. The idea of highlighting the island in the middle of the kitchen, with a higher colour, it’s fantastic! And the best thing of all is that it is very, very easy to clean.
We are very happy and everyone who comes to our home to visit falls in love with it. Thank you Santi and Patricia for such a good job!

My wife and I wanted to redo our kitchen, and we needed a stylish cabinet option that had zero off-gassing since I am chemically sensitive and cannot tolerate any formaldehyde.
Initially, this was difficult to find. We were so pleased to read about IMDesign in the book “Less Toxic Alternatives” by Carolyn Gorman.
We contacted Patricia at IMDesign, and Patricia and the team are absolutely wonderful to work with.
Our general contractor was extremely impressed with the quality, craftsmanship, and ease of installation. The cabinets are beautiful, stylish, and very functional! The soft close feature is fantastic.
It is wonderful to have a new, beautiful kitchen that is a toxic-free environment! Thank you IMDesign!

We love our new kitchen! Having always had wooden cabinets we weren’t sure how the aluminum would look. The new cabinets have exceeded all expectations. The workmanship, attention to detail, prompt and efficient installation resulted in a stress free experience. Santi and Patricia are great people to work with, they have our highest recommendation.

Working with Santi and Patricia was a pleasure — they are professional, enthusiastic, prompt as well as clear in what they can do and for what price. (I only wish I had brought them in earlier when we decided to renovate our bathroom — they have design knowledge that we certainly could have made use of.) We have lived with the cabinetry for six years now and are very happy with how easy it is to maintain (simply wipe it with a damp cloth) and how smart it looks. It will maintain its modern appeal as long as we are in this house — European good looks!

Patricia and Santi provided us with excellent service, including helping us with the design which turned out to meet our needs very well. The cabinets were made in a timely manner and the installation was professional and done with great care and attention to detail.
When we requested backsplashes that were not part of the original order we were accommodated quickly and well. We have had the new kitchen for almost four years and we are extremely happy with it. It is beautiful – the brick red colour we chose and the cabinets are excellent quality and work very well. They are easy to clean and look perfect after almost two years. We enjoy cooking together and prepare food from scratch almost every evening. The kitchen functions exceptionally well for us. In conclusion: We couldn’t be happier with it.

We hired Santi to build weather-proof cabinetry for an outdoor BBQ in a modern beach-front home.
He was able to match the paint colour we requested and make the cabinets fit perfectly to accommodate plumbing and gas fittings. They have been in place now for over a year and still look new.
We were so pleased that we then hired him to build cabinets for a bar area and bathroom. These spaces were very unique, unconventional shapes, and again the cabinets fit perfectly.
In conversation it also came up that we were looking for ideas to add bug screens to our commercial-style windows. Santi came up with a great solution, and provided screens for all the windows in the house. Truly great service.
The owners are a treat to work with! A superb product, and they customized parts of it. I love aluminum cabinetry! (Architect Tony Robins)

IMDesign provided a free consultation and estimate. I had a few ideas of my own. It was amazing that Santi knew just what to do to make my perfect kitchen. Custom design is so much better; everything fits beautifully. I love the quality and clean indestructible aluminum and the clever ideas for the use of all the space. We love our kitchen!! The price is close to any other ready built without having the hassle of doing the work!
Tannis Kirby, Pender Island
The kitchen that Santi and Patricia designed and installed for me is everything, I asked for and more. They used the space I had and created more counter space and storage. I love the way it looks and it feels, it’s great to use. They were so helpful and understanding and gave me many options and colours to choose from. My new kitchen cabinets make my whole house look fresh and modern.
It is important to me to have healthy materials and aluminum is perfect because it has no VOCs or off-gassing and the quality is impeccable. I am so thankful for my beautifully functional kitchen.

Thank you Santi and Patricia for the excellent work you did in our home. We wanted to update our ‘tired’ condo and enjoy the practicality and sleek appearance of your aluminum cabinetry. You worked with us and with our space to create a beautiful kitchen and closet doors throughout our home.
We appreciated the time you took; your ideas and attention to detail. You truly are ‘problem solvers’- you found a way to overcome issues within the existing condo that gave us just what we wanted- beauty combined with perfect functionality. Thank you!

We could not be happier with our kitchen. Santi has great design skills, and we are so happy with the additional storage we have in a small space. It is functional and beautiful, and we enjoy it every day.
